Unbend Mesh (blender addon)
Unbend Mesh is a simple tool for "unbend" any curvy mesh.
Any polygon mesh that has a clear "edges loop" that can be selected, the tool can unbend it back to straight line with the geometries.
For example, if you converted a Blender Curve object into mesh, you can use this tool to "unbend" it with controllable factor.
It is very useful when you want to tweak the "degree of curvy" of the curvy mesh.
You can use this tool to tweak character hair, hard surface models, grass or monster models.
This tool even works for the "twisted curve mesh". The mesh that is made by bended and twisted heavy curve.
It is approximation and not perfect, but almost a straight line.
There is an option called "Unlimited unbend" which means that you can overshoot the unbend and tweak it to be more curvy.
It is very useful if you have a mesh and you want to bend it more.
