Simple Bend Ex (blender addon)
Simple Bend Ex is the enhanced version of Simple Bend.
The tool allow you to bend the mesh very easily.
You just need to select the faces (the bend area), then run the tool.
All settings like bend angle, can be adjusted in the tool menu (lower left menu).
You can use it on complex mesh. The tool will try to detect the correct bending axis from the geometry.
The strength of Simple Bend Ex is that, it works on any orientation, even the mesh is rotated (better then old Simple Bend).
If the axis is not right, you can override it by using global X, Y, Z axis.
Simple Bend Ex has more abilities than the old Simple Bend. For example, you can enlarge the length of the bending area to avoid self overlapping.
Also you can shift the bending location along the bending axis.
Simple Bend Ex can handle any orientation, including non-global axis (non X, Y, Z orientation). So it works on any mesh.
The pipe mesh can be bend as it is extruded. it does not align to X, Y, Z orientation, but Simple Bend Ex can bend it.
Full width SSB (Single Side Bend) option.
Simple Bend Ex has built-in Slicing function ! You can just bend the mesh with auto slicing along the axis.
